Lake Academy, a Kindergarten to Grade Seven regional elementary school located in Fortune, Newfoundland, Canada, is dedicated to developing the whole child become a lifelong learner by meeting unique needs, developing self-worth and appreciation of others, and providing quality educational experiences in a positive, stimulating environment. It serves a student population of just under 200 from the communities of Fortune, Grand Bank, and Grand Beach and is operated by the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District.

 

We think of our school as a comprehensive place where students come to learn. We work hard to meet the needs of all of the students in our care. Our slogan "A Great Place to Learn" incorporates what we believe is an atmosphere that is a positive, stimulating, and rewarding learning environment for children.
